Company Announcement: Change of Ownership

We have some very exciting news to share about our business…

After two and a half decades of building and leading ECSEC, Brian Trundle has sold the business to our Managing Director, Mike Swift.

Mike has worked alongside Brian for many years and has played a big part in shaping the company and the team we have today, so this feels like a natural transition for us.

But the good news is that Brian isn’t going anywhere as he will continue to support the business in a consultancy role.

We’re incredibly proud of everything that the business has achieved over the last 25 years and grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey… Our team, clients and partners.

With Mike leading ECSEC and Brian still involved, we’re excited to see what the future holds.

Words from Brian...

If you saw our last post, you’ll know that after 25 years of building ECSEC, Brian Trundle has sold our business to our Managing Director, Mike Swift. Here’s what Brian has to say about the transition…

“After 25 amazing years, I’m incredibly proud to share that I’ve initiated the first phase of my retirement and sold the business.

What began all those years ago has grown into something I could never have achieved alone. Along the way we’ve built not just a company, but a fantastic team and a community of clients and partners.

I’m really pleased to say that the business is being passed into very safe hands. Mike Swift, who many of you already know as our Managing Director, will be taking over as owner. We’ve worked closely together for a number of years, and I couldn’t think of a better person to lead the company into its next chapter.

The good news is I’m not disappearing into the sunset completely! I’ll still be around in a consultancy role, supporting the team and helping where I can.

To everyone who has been part of the journey over the last 25 years – thank you. I’m looking forward to watching the business continue to grow under Mike’s leadership.”
